"The Ferrari of walking harnesses" Grisha Stewart, author of Behavior Adjustment Training

The terrific Freedom Harness from 2 Hounds Design (formerly known as the Wiggles, Wags and Whiskers Harness) works really well to gently stop your dog pulling while ensuring there is no pressure on throat or neck!

See how quickly this young puppy improved her walking and focus as soon as she started with the Freedom Harness!

Sturdily constructed, with Swiss velvet, and webbing seams on the outside to minimise chafing, and stainless steel D-rings for security.

  • Easy to put on as you don't need to lift your dog's legs.

  • It's also comfortable for dogs to run in, so no need to remove it on walks. They can even swim in it!

  • You can use either the front or the back attachment, or both at once with the special lead provided, for full control and ease of balancing your dog.

  • The great design with four points of adjustment ensures a snug fit which dogs cannot back out of.

  • The lead has a floating handle for comfort.

  • Fantastic for managing reactive dogs without adding stress.

  • Eco-conscious! The webbing is made from recycled plastic bottles,

  • And it's washable too.

I've been providing my students with these Freedom Harnesses for many years, and if you live in the UK you can order here. Orders are despatched within five working days.

For readers in the USA, Europe, and the rest of the world, order direct from 2houndsdesign.com

Measuring

Measure your dog's girth closely from just behind the shoulder round the deepest part of the chest. Freedom Harnesses tend to come large but need a snug fit, so order by measurement, and choose the smallest size that works for your dog.

The breeds suggested for each sizing are a guide only. Size depends on whether it's a dog or a bitch, a juvenile or mature dog, neutered or not, and there is plenty of individual variation! If you have any doubts about the right size for your dog, just contact me.

We have a wide range of colours in stock, usually including Purple, Raspberry, Teal, Red, Royal Blue, Turquoise, Kelly Green and Hot Pink - these look smashing! Vizslas look great in Teal or Kelly Green, for instance, while Rose Pink really suits Weimaraners. The brighter the colour harness, the friendlier your dog will appear - specially useful for those of us with reactive, Growly Dogs!

Don’t leave the harness on a puppy or known chewer unattended! The webbing is strong enough to pull a truck and does not fray, but dogs can chomp through bones, so slicing a harness can be quickly done. If you forget, and disaster strikes, there is an amazing Chew Warranty.

The double-ended lead is 39” when connected to both points, and 63” when connected to one only.

Oakley in Turquoise Extra Small

“Thank you! It arrived this morning so I was eager to try it out, and boy, what a difference! My dog's not a puller as such but he has never walked by my side which is why I got the harness, yet today he was by my side the whole time, he loved it!” Nikki White and Oakley, Jack Russell, in Turquoise Small, pictured left

When we started classes with Beverley with our 3 year old rescue mini Dachshund we were told about the Wiggles Wags and Whiskers Dog Harness. My husband’s feelings were, ‘Oh here we go, the sales pitch’. I find being dragged up the road by a young dog somewhat exhausting so I decided to invest in this harness.  Well I am so glad that I did, our walks have been transformed! I can control Chester so much better, and the strain both mentally and physically no longer exists. It’s not a sales pitch to make money, it really does benefit both dog and human. Even my husband is a convert!” Katina and Chester, Dachshund

The best thing we ever got her. We'd tried a couple of other harnesses and didn't get on with them. Now my mother can walk her!” Becky and Roxy, Australian Shepherd

They are the best things since sliced bread!! The harnesses have made walking the girls a pleasure.” David and Sacha and Scarlett, Golden Retrievers in France, in Large Red and Large Rose Pink

Received harness this morning. Adjusted the straps and it fitted well. Out for a walk then to try it out. I thought it was great. She really didn't pull much at all even when she came across other people and dogs. It will do her for a very long time. Thanks for all your help - customer service was fantastic.” Linda and her Bedlington Terrier in Extra Small, Teal

Have been using the harness for a month now and am pleased to report that it has significantly helped me control Max when out walking and restored my confidence and enjoyment in taking him out. Without it he would be confined to exercising in our fields as he was to strong for me to control even with a headcollar.” Jane with XL Royal Blue

“Using the special harness you supplied he is now walking ‘loose lead’ really well. Very seldom do we have to stop and wait for tension to be released.” with Wiggle Wags from Ollie and best wishes from his Housekeeper Mark

My harness arrived today and I am thrilled. Angus has gone from pulling me along the lane to walking sensibly alongside. I wish I’d had one ages ago! Thank you so very much.” Emma and Angus

“Performance-wise this tiny harness is like a miracle: at last we have four paws on the path even with a passing cat! I don't know how the design can so alter the centre of gravity but it certainly works, I feel like stopping every dog walker I see and sharing the secret.” Dianne and Bertie, Toy Poodle in Extra Small Teal

We had a quick go round the block last night and now have finger tip control, our 12 month lab responded straight away.” Sarah and Chester, Hereford
